Breitling Navitimer
Breitling Navitimer in brief
The Navitimer was introduced in 1952 for pilots as a chronograph carrying a circular slide rule on the bezel. With this rule, pilots could do flight calculations such as fuel consumption, rate of climb and distance on the watch.
The finely toothed bezel, the logarithmic scale around the dial and the three-subdial layout make the Navitimer recognizable from afar. In the family renewed in 2022, the AOPA winged logo of the first models returned to the dial.
