Cartier Santos

Cartier Santos in brief

The Santos story begins in 1904, when Louis Cartier designed a watch for his aviator friend Alberto Santos-Dumont that he could read while flying without taking it out of his pocket. It is counted among the first modern wristwatches for men.

The square case with softened corners, the visible screws on it and the bezel flowing into the case make the Santos recognizable. In the family renewed in 2018, the strap and bracelet are changed without tools using QuickSwitch, and the bracelet length is adjusted with SmartLink.
