Omega Seamaster

Omega Seamaster in brief

The Seamaster was introduced in 1948, in Omega's 100th year, as a waterproof everyday watch. Over time it grew into the brand's broadest family, covering many lines from professional dive watches to elegant everyday watches.

Its best-known member is the Diver 300M, which arrived in 1993: it is recognized by its wave-pattern dial, helium escape valve and unidirectional ceramic bezel. The Planet Ocean for deeper diving and the Aqua Terra, with its horizontal-lined dial for everyday and dressy use, complete the family.

Common references and sizes

The Diver 300M is 42 mm (e.g. 210.30.42.20.01.001), the Planet Ocean 600M is 43.5 and 39.5 mm, the Aqua Terra 150M is 38 and 41 mm, and the classic Seamaster 300 is commonly seen with a 41 mm case.
