Omega De Ville

Omega De Ville in brief

The De Ville name was used within the Seamaster family in the 1960s for models to be worn in the city and in elegant settings, and in 1967 it became a family of its own. Today it is Omega's most classic line.

The family stretches from the Prestige and Trésor, with slim cases and plain dials, to top models with tourbillons and precious metals. Roman numerals, guilloché or enamel dials and leather straps belong to the De Ville's language.

Common references and sizes

Prestige models are mostly 27.5, 32.7, 36.8 and 39.5 mm; the Trésor comes with 36, 39 and 40 mm cases. Precious-metal and complication models are fewer in number.

Frequently asked questions

Can the De Ville be worn every day?

Yes, but its character is elegant. On models with leather straps, it is best to avoid long contact with water.

What is the difference between the Prestige and the Trésor?

The Prestige is a broader, more accessible series; the Trésor is a slimmer interpretation with a plainer dial and slightly more formal.

Quartz or mechanical?

The family has both. Quartz models are practical and slim; mechanical models carry a Co-Axial movement.
