Omega Speedmaster
Omega Speedmaster in brief
The Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as one of the first chronographs with a tachymeter scale on the bezel. It passed NASA's demanding tests in 1965 and was used on the Moon with Apollo 11 in 1969; it has been known as the "Moonwatch" ever since.
The asymmetric case, three subdials on a black dial and the hand-wound chronograph movement are the Moonwatch's signature. Today the family stretches from automatic chronographs to the ceramic-cased Dark Side of the Moon and classic '57 versions.
