Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in brief
The Cosmograph Daytona was introduced in 1963 as a chronograph designed for racing drivers, and took its name from the Daytona race track in Florida. The tachymeter scale on the bezel is used to read average speed from the time taken to cover a distance.
The three small subdials, contrast-colored "panda" dials and screw-down chronograph pushers are the model's signature. Since 2000 it has been made with Rolex's own chronograph movement, and since 2016 the steel models have a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel.
